Perhaps he’s thinking of you and your automated braking system DD, that 1.1 second you set your system at? I hope at least you are conserving fuel when you do it😂

PS, I am only joking of course, having a chuckle😁

I had a BIL who was way ahead of the curve. He used to coast, slip stream, turn engine off...........thankfully I never went in a car he was driving.😱

As this thread began about becoming more eco friendly how about CC Ltd installing solar panels, ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps.  They could also assist the wardens with their fitness regimes by providing them with push mowers and hand carts, or possibly rickshaw type carts, for transporting stuff around the sites; the tractor could then be removed.

Agree, Club Sites should have solar panels on roof tops where suitable. New build sites to have other features incorporated. Rare as hen’s teeth those though.

As most other caravan sites in the UK, but then it depends on what areas, whether the investment would work and make it viablesurprised

Is that not like having the air/con or heater on in the car with the windows open .... 🤔

When OH and I were at work, she often got calls from offices and travel centres during the summer months , saying that the Aircon was not working ,after she had asked if all the doors and windows were closed, and normally was told its too hot so we have opened them! after being advised by her to close them, she would give them a call about an hour later and the reply was always "its working now",wink
