Mountains can be dangerous places even for those with experience. I do hope there is news soon, each increasing day makes the likely outcome worse. I feel so sorry for their families.

Alone in mountains at this time of year, even if experienced, increases the risk level due to exposure if you become incapacitated.

Yes, they weren’t apart for a year, just a month. Dreadful news for him, I do hope she is rescued alive and well.

A mystery indeed. Very sad for all involved. 

Does not add up, something not quite right with all of this, but only time will tell, suspicious
