Posted on 09/08/2019 12:03 by Rufsperhaps there is no incentive to speed this forum up, after all the forum as i see it is only used by a very very small percentage of club members, a couple of dozen maybe?, and it has been said before, Facebook now seems to be the place to be, and club staff appear to be much more responsive to queries etc on FB, not that i use it a lot as i do find a lot of useful information on this forum. I only use this forum from home via a laptop and I do not have any major problems and the rest of the site e.g. booking sites etc seems to be ok. I do log off most days and dont keep my laptop under my pillow as a just in case

Posted on 09/08/2019 14:32 by richardandrosAlthough this site does have its 'off' days, I don't generally find it slow. I've just been on the C&CC website and that's far worse. I've also just been loading pages from my Bookmarks bar (ones that I haven't visited recently - so they're not in cache memory) and some of those took an absolute age to load. So, by comparison, I don't find this site too bad. I'm using an iMac with not particularly fast fibre broadband.
