Please can anybody help? I have recently placed an advert in the classifieds section of ct for an air awning. I have tried to look at the advert this morning and cannot find it. After narrowing the search down using the awning/accessory search area it doesn't work when you click on search. Is this normal?

I placed it on Wednesday. I received the email to say it had gone live and viewed the advert on the day. Having gone into "manage your ad" it tells me it's on page 27 but it won't come up under the search criteria, which I think is how most people will look for things. It's a Kampa Pro Air 330.

Can I suggest you post it on the UKCS Classifieds section? Lots of people look on there and we have successfully sold quite a few items.

On the Caravan and Motorhome Club Classifieds page, if you start by narrowing down the options on the left side of the page to Accessories, and then to Awnings, and then to 'Private Sellers' then your advert comes up on page 2 - so it is actually there. I think one of the problems on here is that a lot of the adverts are posted by companies advertising a large number of items and private sellers adverts are somewhat swamped.

[Deleted User User] we're selling the awning due to not using it enough. We tend to only manage weekends away due to work, so awnings are a faff for such a short time away.
Valda - I wonder if it's because I've using an iPad? The search just doesn't work, so it doesn't minimise the adverts to what you want to see. I got to page 30 and still couldn't find it before the "problem with the web page so it's being reloaded" lark. I gave up in the end which doesn't bode will for selling this awning! 😕
