This seems a bit over the top.

Every time I log in, refresh the page or use the back arrow I'm having to agree to the cookie settings to clear the banner. Even after I do that, I'm stuck with an annoying black diagonal box in the corner which, as I type, is obscuring part of my text. I know of no other website that takes things to this extreme.

Will somebody please report my post to bring this to Ro's attention.

Sorry, I see Steve beat me by 5 seconds. Simply opening his thread caused the cookie banner to appear as did opening the edit box. It's pretty close to unusable😤😤😤

Done. I have also just started a thread on the same subject. Perhaps a mod would like to close one of them.

Thanks, Steve. Yes, great minds, eh! See my edit above. This has to be the most user unfriendly move yet.

What on earth has gone on here? Surely whoever applied this to the website has realise how invasive it is. They appear to have used this company I have a permanent C in the bottom right hand corner of the page, as illustrated by TW, which is most distracting. Every page seems to need you to accept cookies. How has this been allowed to happen? I wondered if the site had been taken over by some virus?

It was OK first thing, then when I tried to get on again about 9:30 I kept getting a server error. Then new banner started appearing. A very similar scenario to the interactive help, which initially used to take over the screen.

I didn't see any so called maintenance last night, Steve, and the server error is back yet again in LA.

I'm going out now and hope to find an improvement on my return🙄

Strange it appeared just today, was the site down down for maintenance  last night?

Agree very very annoying

Post edit I say maintenance very loosely.

It wasn't there first thing this morning so either the Club's site was hacked or IT were playing with an add on.

If it was hacked could the Hackers do us a favour and improve it before handing it back.

If it's Ransomware then they'll probably end up paying the club to take it back off their hands.yelllaughing

It seems very odd that a Leisure company that actively encourages new members to join & offers them numerous sites uses a clunky, slow system that breaks regularly. What super sharp business brain thinks that is a winning formula🙄. It’s time to have leadership fit for the 21st century. C&MC are a clockwork company competing in a Digital World. . .It ain’t gonna end well☹️🤷🏻‍♂️
