How?

Noticed that a closed discussion is now heading up this section. Quite how is a puzzle, as it was locked mid August?

It’s this one Jill https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-together/discussions/welcome-hobby-talk/how-to-use-club-together/an-open-letter-to-the-community-manager-reviews/

I was just puzzled how it could be coming up as latest post, when it had been closed for around a month, and there are other threads that are much more recent. Must be an anomaly in the system. My “How” post is now the latest, so it will probably slide out of sight now.🙂

You could be right Jill, although I did think I had read Ro’s post earlier this month. Not a problem.....

Rowena posted and locked it a month ago.

I’ve a feeling somebody liked a post recently. Perhaps that bumped it up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Shouldn't a locked thread be just that - Locked? One shouldn't be able to add or detract (unlike) anything.

The system sure boggles me.undecided

We all know very well that this forum software has some serious flaws and I suspect it was someone retrospectively liking a post as suggested by TW. One way to stop that happening would be as soon as a thread in locked it is also hidden. I expect the majority would prefer the thread to remain visible as such threads often include posts from the Community Manager answering the original question. With respect I don't see that there is much point in continuing discussion on this subject so I will close

Thanks

David
