PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

This thread is not for discussions. Post ONLY factual information.

To provide a comprehensive list of problems encountered, I would suggest that each post lists only one issue at a time.

Provide details of problem  as concisely as possible.

Operating system, machine used and relevant software. i.e. Macbook/ PC/tablet, Windows XP/ iOS7 etc, Safari/Internet Explorer/Chrome inc version No.

Please do not enter into discussions such as "I've had/not had this problem" as this will detract from the objectivity of the thread. Hopefully this thread may assist the IT department in finding where "all the bodies are buried".

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

On front page of Discussions, last post appears to be attributed to the opening poster and not the most recent poster.

Presumably all platforms?

Eats words as and after typing. New refinement this morning ate the post 😀 it would have been post number 13 haha.

Kindle Fire 5th generation.

Having to use my phone works OK but not ideal to post.

iPad/Safari, liking a post sends to top of page. Multiple clicks required to reply, slow to load pages, buffers all the time (and no, it isn't my connection!)

Photographs

1) show thumbnails as larger pictures, they are far too small at present. I appreciate that you can click on them for a larger image but this would not be needed if they appeared the width of the message pane.

2) Allow the posting of pictures with a URL in addition to the new method of posting pictures as we were able to in the previous forum. Restricting us to five photos per story does not allow us to break up the text as could before. It also has the advantage that we are not uploading photos to the site servers which will eventually slow the servers down (more!)

Story Section

1) Restore the view stories by author not just the top five.

2) Show how many times a story is viewed as we do with forum posts as it's difficult to judge how popular the story section without this information.

3) Give greater guidance on what should be posted in the Story Section and encourage people not to post stories without photos.

Macbook Pro, El Capitan 10.11.6, Safari 9.1.3

CL Search by County & Town

Selecting a County does not filter the Town list

Facilities filters only work correctly if one item is selected. Multiple filters do not work.

New Activity Emails have 3 problems:

1. They contain 3rdf party advertising images. While a small amount of advertising is allowable in what is essentially an operational email the actual advert is larger and more prominent than the real content.

2. The text  in the email contains a spelling mistake - "discussion" is spelt "dicussion" in the sentence below:

To unfollow this dicussion visit the discussion page, make sure you are logged into the website and click 'Unfollow'.

 3. The "disclaimer" text at the end of the email is repeated - once is white on green background and once in normal plain text.

When posting replies the "Reply" button is not disabled after the first post, so if clicked twice the reply gets repeated. As demonstrated in previous post.
