Hi fellow Caravanner,

Am seeking advice as this is our first trip abroad and have decided to take ferry to Santander, then drive across to Bacelona and up thro' France via the Dordogne. We are planning an 8 week trip sailing back from Caen.

Can you please give us any tips about possible routes avoiding TollsRoad and any places of interest etc.
We are a retired Couple interested in Countryside, Walking and Wine.

Best wishes, Mick.

Hello and welcome.

Interesting places? On the Spanish leg the Ordesa National Park, and on the way through France to the Dordogne the remarkable cathedral and the gallery of paintings by Toulouse Lautrec , both in Albi. Others will come up with more, I'm sure.

Toll free roads are marked on all the best road atlases so I won't elaborate. Have a good adventure. Take care.
