it’s a long drive, no ferries go from uk into Scandinavia. We took a month first time and got as far as the artic circle, 2nd time we went for 6 weeks through Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway to the North Cape. Food is expensive, Denmark being the cheapest, then Sweden and Norway, so take as much as you can. 

we loved it and will return. Enjoy.

You will be limited in the food you can take from UK due to Brexit,  It is easy enough to stock up en route, Germany will be cheapest.  Stock up there before crossing into Denmark or taking a ferry from Germany to Sweden.  Then in Sweden before entering Norway.

We have been a few times, with caravan,  as I am from the  north of Norway, but the drive is getting a bit much for me these days.   We have been as far as North Cape, and all the way down the coast to the far south.    If you want to see much of Norway, and anything much of the other countries you pass through, you will need several weeks, 6 at least, more even better.  We were away 4 months last time, but there were lots of relatives to visit!  We usually go north in Sweden, the coastal route is more interesting than the inland one, but the lakes are nice, then return south  through Norway.

Norway is very expensive, but we usually regard Sweden as slightly less expensive than Denmark.  It will depend on where you shop.

Both have Lidl and Aldi or similar, Norway does not, but there is a range of supermarkets.  Choice of goods is not as wide as in UK, especially in the north.

 Best time to go is June to September, but some sites start closing in early September.  We found that sites in Norway are more basic than in Sweden and Denmark, and quality more variable.  Expect to pay extra for showers in Norway and Denmark, and some sites in Denmark meter electricity, and it is expensive.

Roads in Sweden are good,  Norway less so, especially in the north, and there are lots of road tolls in Norway, so getting around is expensive.  Some routes will also require the use of a ferry.

Kj who is a regular forum poster comes from Norway and I seem to recall that he has made several trips "back home" so I am sure he can provide some information.
