Battery charging

Being new to motorhomes - a quick question.

When hooked up to mains electrics are both the leisure battery and the vehicle battery being charged?

Also when the engine is running is it charging both batteries?

Without knowing the details of your control unit, it's impossible to be sure. Your handbook should tell you.

The answer to both your questions is normally yes but I can’t be certain in your case. You may need to switch charge from one to the other.
