Perfect for cycle and walking trails of Sherwood pines
This is our second trip to this CL. We have a 8.25m long 3.2 m high 5 ton motorhome towing a smart car and have no issues with driving down the long lane or access into the CL. Donkey is now sectioned off from where you park and their dog does not free roam and uses his garden but the house..
Electric option was offered for another £5 per night but not needed due to time of year, Superb location for walking and cycling. Secure so can leave windows open when out in the forest. Both times we have stopped off on way to/fro Scotland and owners haven’t been concerned about arrival or departure time. Deerdale Lane is long single track but we didn’t encounter any overhanging or sticking out branches and there are passing bays. Several cars use the end of lane to park to bike as Sherwood pines charges are high so makes this site value for money.
