Lovely short grassed site with no cuttings to drag into van, surrounded by greenery and a pretty garden belonging to the owner Mr Young. We found it level enough. The Guinea fowl and Bantam Chickens run freely and gave us quite a giggle at their antics - the chickens sitting on our step at one stage. There was a rooster somewhere as we heard him, but it didn't affect our sleeping, nor did two pigeons who were running up and down on our roof for a few seconds. Spotted a hare grazing not 50 yards from us. Just outside, as others have mentioned a lovely pond, with geese, ducks and more guinea fowl, so pretty to wander by. We visited Lacock, a must if you haven't been before, very surprised it was free parking - such a bonus these days. Lovely chat with Mr Young, who seemed to be on the go all the time - he even milks his four cows by hand! Even enjoyed the thunder storm - thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
