Overnight Stop
We stayed overnight at Hordern Lodge on our way to the Yorkshire Dales from Devon. The site is easy to access, although be aware of the metal sign at the entrance gates, I got perilously close with the caravan when turning in. The site is currently being relocated to an adjoining field, with five hardstandings, all with electric hook up. Water and waste are close by too.
The canal is just up the road, and this makes an ideal dog walk. Although it is close to the M54, the traffic noise was not a problem.
We would stay here again on our way up north.
