A Little Expensive now.

A first class CL which I have used in the past. No facilities except EHU but a little expensive at £18.50 in June 2017 under the new owners..

Great CL

We wanted to visit longer but only had one night in  early April 2016 en-route home and we will be back!  The site is great with good facilities and firm level pitches in a well-sheltered field close to a spectacular refurbished abbey gatehouse.  The owner is very welcoming and there are plenty of dog walks in the large area of land that is part of the owners patch.  We look forward to our return.

Fabulous!

A lovely CL site at Pentney Abbey with fabulous dog walks from the site along the river Nar to Narborough or a 10 mile circular walk.  The site is sheltered by trees and is extremely well maintained.  We had a private viewing of the restored Gatehouse of the Abbey by Howard which was fascinating and definitely worth doing if you have the opportunity.  There are some great places to visit locally Castle Rising, Castle Acre, Sandringham and the town of Kings Lynn.  A wonderful CL, highly recommended.

" Bootiful Site "

We were lucky to stay on this site for the weekend. A beautiful kept site with lovely views of the Abbey Gatehouse. We will try and stay again if we can compete with the regulars who know they are onto a good thing.

Wow factor

Having been recommended this site from a colleague we jumped at the chance to pay Pentney Abbey a visit. If your looking for peace and tranquility you will not be disappointed, a well kept field, protected from the elements with great walks along the River Nar. 10amp electric provided and set on the English Heritage site of Pentney Abbey. If your offered a chance of a guided tour of the abbey that's been painstakingly and lovingly restored by Howard and his wife, do it! Highly recommended and the passion they have for their property is infectious. Will definitely return here.

Beautiful site

Have just returned from this beautiful site.  Everything about this site and it's surroundings are immaculate.  Excellent walking direct from the site and we and our dogs particularly enjoyed the walk alongside the River Nar.  Howard made us feel very welcome and couldn't have been more helpful.  We were only sorry we couldn't stay longer to enjoy a tour around the magnificent Abbey but we plan to come back another time.

Great Site

Following our visit to this site we can only highly recommend it for peace and quiet and great walks. The site is easy to find and the access road is very good. The only downside to our stay was the situation regarding recycling. As we are people who take this matter serious we did not need to be instructed on how to recycle our rubish and felt that this subject could have been handle with a bit more diplomacy, it made us feel uneasy which resulted in us taking our rubbish home.

Excellent

This is undoubtedly one of the best CL's on the network. Howard and Dita have done an excellent job on both the CL and the abbey renovations. The abbey gatehouse has been lovingly restored with appropriate guidance from English heritage and Howard takes great pride in giving a really interesting guided tour. Give the CL a try you wont be disappointed.
