Access the site from the Whitby side, if approaching from the Guisborough direction on the A171 continue down to the roundabout and come back on yourself towards Guisborough the road to Aislaby is then your first left. If going into Whitby use the park and ride parking in the centre of Whitby is difficult. If you have a liking for dressed crab then Sandgate Seafoods at 14 Sandgate Whitby are the best value for money. If fossil hunting then park in the Abbey Car park and walk to Saltwick Bay via the Caravan Holiday Park.
