A beautiful, tranquil escape
We visited Abbot's Shingle in early August 2016, what can I say but fantastic. Such a welcome escape from larger club sites.
If you want tranquility and don't mind a place with limited facilities, then this is perfect for you. Running water, a place to empty chemical loos, and if you elect to park on one of their caravan pitches, electricity.
We are self sufficient and were given the choice to roam the 5 acres and pitch where we wanted in the pine woodland that is wonderfully managed by Bernard.
