We only stayed for two nights but couldn’t have been made more welcome by Bernard and Peggy. A charming couple with lots of fabulous tales to tell about the local area with Bernard living nearby since before the Second World War. The site is lovely and set in 7 acres. The camping area is plenty big enough for a CL and you have the whole area to wander about in. Reading the reviews I was quite surprised that there wasn’t anything particularly recent so I thought I’d correct that. I know this little gem gets booked out with returning guests and it deserves to - we’ll definitely becoming again as it’s a lovely place to just hang out and enjoy Bernard’s stories.
