We visited this site for Easter break 2017. The CL is attatched to a larger site, Drive through the larger site about 20 units into a smaller area which is the cl. Well laid out , short mown grass and hard standing. Not a big area but ample space. The 5 cl units back on to the Whitegate way. A beautiful walk , paradise for dog walkers, cyclists and joggers alike. Our dog loved the freedom of off lead walking here, yes she is well behaved and well trained. To walk along what was once a train track, is flat and leval, with birds in abundance. The drawback with this site is the 10 amp electric, for £14 a night with no facitlities and the electric going off quite a few times is not good. But the weather was cold especially at night and the site full being a bank holiday. We had a lovely visit to the Anderton Boat Lift, and nature reserve just 7 miles away and Chester just 15 miles away. For a treat we bought Groupon afternoon tea at Patiserie Valerie for £19 for 2 people, very yummy
