A gem of a site,

Just stayed here for 6 days and it really is a lovely site. Very easy to find from the A47. Freshly cut grass and lots of space, we were woken up by the birds singing and spent ages in the evening watching the bats in the garden.. Toilet was adequate, and lots of hot water for the shower. Liz the owner is lovely, we will definitely be back in the autumn.

Charming and characterful

Lovely, shady Campsite during the heatwave. Enjoyed the quirky facilities in the railway carriage. Friendly welcome.

A lovely welcome from a very accomodating owner

Very easy to find just a few minutes of the A47 (look out for the Shell Petrol Station roundabout). We spent the May bank holiday here, great weather and a relaxing recharge at this lovely CL. There is a fixed hardstanding (with EHU) and plenty of grass paddock area to 'pick-a-pitch' with another 4 EHU points. Elsan, drinking water and a vintage station masters cabin housing a basic but very clean toilet and shower. We use our own facilities. Dogs are welcome (to be kept on a lead). Liz, the owner, made us very welcome checking we had settled in and made us aware of the services locations. We look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended. Andrew & Sheila

Very accomodating

We called to see if we could be accomodated within the next 30 minutes - we needed to stop travelling due to adverse weather. The owner made us very welcome at short notice and even though we were staying for just for one night. Lovely quiet paddock. Would recommend.

A hidden gem with a delightful owner!

Although our request to visit was out of Mrs Knight's season she was delighted to welcome us to her CL in mid-November. as a hardstanding pitch is available. A small paddock, very picturesque in autumn, with a shower (£1), toilet and a sink which could be used for dish-washing. Comprehensive Tourist Information available which was very useful. The entrance was a little tricky but we soon mastered that! Quietly situated at the end of a narrow lane so no passing traffic Convenient for Wisbech, the Wash, Long Sutton, King's Lynn and many pretty villages and waterways. We were booked in for 3 nights but had to extend to 4 as our motorhome became ill and needed repair before we could return home. Mrs Knight was happy to accommodate us with no pressure to vacate on the Monday at a specific time. A perfect location to explore this part of Cambridgeshire/Norfolk and we would have no hesitation in making a return visit.

Small and peaceful

A small grass paddock style area with some shady trees, we enjoyed our stay here. Using it as an on-route stop mid-week, we were the only van on the site. The on-site toilet and shower are looking a bit dated now but everything was clean and worked so no real complaints. We only have a small van so the tight entrance was no problem. We were met on arrival, facilities explained and then left to poodle about to our hearts content with no pressure to leave next day. If you want to stay in this corner of Cambridgeshire, this is worth a look

Pleasant little CL

We stayed here for a few nights while tour the area and visiting friends. It is a fairly basic , and quiet CL, which is what we like. , but could do with a little TLC. ( there are a couple of derelict looking static vans on site). Mrs Knights was very helpful . We loved her "lodgers" in the next field - two lovely friendly donkeys!. It is a useful site for visiting many attractions in the surrounding area, but away from the maddening crowd, and is down quite a long narrow lane.

Great place, great owner

A very nice certified location.  Relatively easy to find and access generally good.  Facilities are what you would expect for a basically priced site but they are fine. Owner, Liz, bends over backwards to be helpful and accommodating.  Will definitely return

Well hidden gem

At first we wondered if we were going to come to a dead end, very narrow approach and twisty. But worth it, lovely quiet little site with five donkeys for company. Nice warm welcome the facility's were a bit dated but adequate, after all it's a CL at £9.00 a night, not Butlins we will certainly be going back
