A very basic site in pleasant surroundings.

We liked this site, but probably would avoid if it was wet as the grass could have been shorter and with a camper it could have been a bit of a problem. Access to the drinking water was a little overgrown and the toilet disposal was very basic! If you are unsteady on your legs be careful! Lots of young pheasants around morning and evening getting the harvest pickings. The river Nairn footpath is nearby but to get on to it you need to walk on the road to the bridge (direction Nairn). We had a good meal in the Cawdor Inn. Price quoted on the phone was £6 per night, on the honesty box £8! Did not see anybody to query this.
