My wife and I stayed here last weekend the 8-9th of October, we were looking for somewhere close to Chorley as our daughter had recently moved there. Allanson Hall Farm is right on the doostep. Set on a small field alongside the main house and within 200 yards of the Leeds to Liverpool canal, this was a superb location to stay during our visit. The owner greeted us on arrival and showed me where all of the amenities were. he was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The price we paid was very reasonable and included electric hook up although the hookup would not support electric fan heaters, but there was a sign that made this very clear. There are lovely walks along the canal, and the bridge pub is only a short walk to the next bridge, we stopped for a drink and the staff and locals were very friendly. there are lots of shops and places to eat only a short drive away. We loved it and found it to be a very relaxing place to stay. No doubt we will be back soon.
