Stayed just one night here and found we had the CL to ourselves, which was fine for us as we wanted a peaceful stopover. The obliging owner let us both arrive a bit early and leave mid-afternoon as the CL was otherwise empty. As others have said, there was a little bit of road noise but absolutely no dogs barking from the kennels nor noise from the construction work going on on the other side of the farm. I can't really endorse the comment about beautiful views as the site is essentially flat with no scenic views over the countryside ...but we enjoyed watching the sheep in the adjacent field who came right up near the fence and there were also lambs to see in a pen nearer the entrance. We had a decent meal at The Plough Inn in nearby West Hanney. Altogether a very quiet and pleasant stopover and we would visit again.
