new owners

Been to this site many times , the site seems to have been taken over by new people and given a new name (originaly angram green farm house ) reviews are from when it was the old owners so cannot really comment on them but the old owner only charged £7 a night and now being but up at £15 a night . loved the site but think its now a bit pricey.

A fantastic tranquil location

We were met by the owner who took us to the field where we were staying. He pointed out the facilities, water, bins and black water. We were the only Motorhome on the site and it was a very large field. There are lots of very good and challenging walks from the site up Pendle Hill. There are two pubs near by (.75 and 1.25 miles walk) with off road walks to both which are a bit longer. We did not find any shops in these villages. A really great site which we will no doubt visit again.

Peaceful with beautiful scenery

We had a short weekend at this lovely CL.  The friendly owner met us on arrival; we had the CL to ourselves so we could park wherever we wanted. Although basic it had rubbish bins, fresh water and chemical toilet disposal, plus peace, quiet and wonderful views.  We enjoyed a lovely 10 mile walk from the CL, over the moor to the Pendle Ski Club, then down into Pendleton and Worston (where we stopped for a drink at the friendly Calf's Head), up to Downham and back along the path at the base of Pendle Hill. It's also great cycling country.  If you want some tranquillity and excellent scenery, you'll really enjoy this CL.

Relaxing Weekend

Just returned from a wonderful two nights at Angram farm Caravan Club CL. The owner is extremely friendly .The level and spacious field has views across the Ribble valley or up onto Pendle depending which way you pitch. It is so peaceful here and we thoroughly enjoyed watching all the wildlife and farm animals and the sunsets over Waddington Fell. There are lots of lovely footpaths in the area. We feel so relaxed and revived form our break. I wish there were more simple 5 van CL's like this one.

Angram Green Farmhouse

We came here after weeks of rain and unfortunately the field was a bit soft, but it was not a problem as these lovely people let us put our campervan in their very attractive farmyard, and also let us put our portable toilet in a shed right next to our van. The Hargreaves were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, they even let us sit out in the gardens of their holiday cottage. This site is right at the base of Pendle Hill and the views from here are spectacular. The site was clean and tidy and very well kept, I would recommend it to all, a very relaxing stay in tranquil, beautiful surroundings. I hope we will get the opportunity to come back again.
