Had a lovely stay, nice and central for a lot of locations. Nice walks off site, 10 min walk to Holt. NT properties nearby. We were lucky to see Hares and Partridges on the site and a hedgehog. It would have been nice to see Sarah, perhaps we will see her next time.
Great CL
Stayed here for one night the way home from a weekend away with friends. The site is just a large field off the A148 just outside of the lovely market town of Holt which has a wide array of shops, restaurants, bars etc. and which is on the posh side of things. All these facilities are in a very short walk of the site. Because of the proximity of the road there is some road noise on the site. The field slopes down away from the road and if you like being level you'll need blocks etc. The grass is kept quite long which is great for wildlife but makes it quite wet in the early mornings. There's a lot of wildlife to watch over the adjoining woods and fields - we particularly liked watching the hares, and the herd of deer that regularly crossed our view. Black waste and water were easy to find and use and there are bins for waste and recycling along with a handy notice board. We will most likely be back.

Archie’s field
Have just returned home from a lovely stay at this site, we enjoyed watching the birds, kites & buzzards to name a couple, the site is good for walking the dog going into spouts hill and walking round old railway line back to ford and water mill. Easy walk into Holt, with its independent shops.
Will definitely be back

Pleasant CL
Had a lovely week here and really enjoyed it. Useful information board, water and waste points were good,
Very handy for Holt, the broads and the north Norfolk coast.
As Arnie would say "we'll be back"

Great location!
What a great place to stay! The grass was a little long and rough and we missed the entrance but really enjoyed our weekend. Easy to walk into Holt and the new Budgens! Also to Letheringsett, and the flour mill. We discovered Spout Hills that we had not heard of before. We walked to the North Norfolk Railway and Holt country park. Natural Surroundings is just up the road too and well worth a visit. We enjoyed asparagus from the caravan across the road in the layby, unfortunately we were a bit early for strawberries.
Easy to pay and find our own space. Road quietens down at night so isn't a problem

Archie’s Field….
Nice easy accessible site straight off the A148, and within striking distance of Holt by foot..about 12 min walk.
Site is slightly sloping from front to back, so levellers will be required.
It’s a new site with nice views looking towards the back off the site. The front of the site needs for the newly planted trees and shrubs to grow quickly to block out any sign of the A148 road. When that happens the site will be nice and cosy, and hopefully it will eliminate some of the road traffic noise which to be fair isn’t that bad, and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the site.
Will definitely use again.👍
Good as a stopover or a base
Pleasant short grass site. Located off a main road which was surprisingly unobtrusive for our overnight stay. Water tap and chemical disposal easily seen. No EHU which was no problem. Photos do justice to the site. Walk into Holt is fairly easy and can be made on footpath and the 2 bits of old road so avoiding walking near traffic. Easy communication with owner to book. Self arrival and choice of pitch. Bank transfer pay. EE mobile coverage at least on site. TV coverage good. Definitely one of those sites where you are glad to have chosen to use it.
Excellent
Hi I’d just like to thank Sarah for ease of contact payment and and a brilliant site well thought out all one needs would def recommend thanks much appreciated ray
Excellent New Site
Although this site has only been open a few months it is a great little find. Just back from 4 nights there and I can echo a lot of what others have said in that it is a nice site with good basic facilities and a nice owner. An easy walk up into Holt made even nicer if you cut through Spout Hill park. We cycled off to see the sea at Weybourne beach and had a look around. Knocked off a star in the peace and tranquility due to road noise and tanker activity at the Anglian Water site but neither is too intrusive and a new hedge has been planted by the road to help this. The field is well drained and even after a good drop of rain our motorhome had no problem getting off. Park across the slope and leveling blocks cope easily. Good information board showing parks and walks locally. We would happily visit again, thank you Sarah.

Great find
Stayed last minute for 3 nights, lovely big field, very short walk into Holt. Yes there is noise from the road but didn’t bother us. Will definitely be back.
