Just as a CL should be; peaceful, quiet, relaxing, great views, easy access, clean & tidy and well maintained, friendly and efficient owners and good value for money. We really enjoyed our two weeks on this CL which is ideally situated for access to Dartmoor, Plymouth, west Cornwall etc. A walk through Lydford Gorge (not for the feint of heart) is highly recommended if you are able as are visits to both Cothele and Buckland abbey NT properties. The Coop in Callington is a good local supermarket and there are larger ones in Tavistock (Tesco & Morrisons) and Liskeard (Tesco and Lidl). There is also a lovely Waitrose store on the route to Plymouth. The ponds on site are lovely and well worth the stroll down through the field. Thank you Colin and Sue - we shall be back! Mike & Kathy
