Excellent site
A lovely quiet site with good short dog walks down to the river on site. Owners away when we arrived but good info in centre of site plus friendly welcome from gardener Alasdair helped us settle in rapidly. Owner Diane met us on her return and was also very pleasant and helpful.
Well placed for access to Jedburgh, Melrose. On the doorstep is Ancrum with active pub and friendly local shop and the great Harestanes Visitor Centre with a range of short/medium walks and craft/food/cafe outlets. Excellent value at £12.50 per night plus clean loo block.
