Ease of arrival/welcome

Peace, but still close to the city.

A quiet site in beautiful surroundings, although the train line did have late night freight that tended to stop nearby and have a noisy shunt; not a major issue. Great for the dogs. Grass was very much in need of a cut! Access via a narrow lane as is usual with many CLs; not a problem except for the largest of rigs. I felt that for £15 a night (with awning) the chemical disposal could be a little more than removing a manhole cover and chucking the waste down the sewer; again not a major issue. Great walks locally, particularly the cycle route into Hereford, a very easy 3 miles to the mighty Wye Valley Brewery 'The Barrels'; not to be missed, beer lovers. Also tried out the Varga Tavern (2 miles); a community local the HPA and Butty Bach (worth a look). We'll be back.
