Very handy for Hereford

We stayed here in early November and as we're a heavy motorhome we requested some sort of hardstanding to save their grass. They very kindly earmarked a spot by the barn, with an electric point and handy tap, rather than on the CL field. Mr and Mrs Watkins were very helpful too. Apart from the trains (which aren't too horrendously often or loud) this is a very tranquil site. There is a very handy walk/cycle ride to Hereford, about 2 1/2 miles - turn right out of the farm, then right up the lane. At the railway bridge you'll find the off road path to the right and it's well signposted into town past a housing and industrial estates. You can walk down the main road too but we found this boring, noisy with all the traffic and a bit of a drag uphill. Hereford is a little gem, much bigger than we'd thought, and the Mappa Mundi (medieval map) and Cathedral are well worth a visit. We also had a nice walk southwards across the fields and over the main road to the hillside, searching for geocaches.
