Booked a few weeks before Easter and staggered there was only one other MH Thurs-Mon Easter weekend! No problem following provided directions, otherwise 30% hills coming from Millook! The farmhouse is Atlantic View a few metres before the hidden site entrance, both on right and immediately before the more obvious āno caravans beyond this pointā sign.
We are fully self sufficient in our xlwb camper van so search out quieter/better value sites good for cycling. It had been very wet and we were just ok getting in the field. We did put one levelling ramp on to optimise our view. Just found a spot.
It was a quagmire around the emptying point/tap (further up the field through gate on right) but again perfectly acceptable when paying Ā£10 a night.
If you need help just phone. We did meet the farmer coming back from a bike ride, very friendly and helpful, as is his mum who answers phone.
We are keen cyclists, and knew it was challenging rides. We donāt move the van and ride/walk everywhere. Lovely walks along the coast path in both directions to Crackington and Widemouth Bay.
We also cycled out to Crackington/Boscastle/Tintagel via hillier coast and back on easier inland lanes. Boscastle Farm Shop Cafe highly recommend.
We also rode to Bude and back through Millook, a small amount of walking but worth it. Can also recommend Temple cafe restaurant in Bude and Black Rock cafe in Widemouth.
10/10 for peace tranquility space views and value for money, if you want cafes/pubs in walking distance perhaps not for you!
The perfect CL
This is what CLs are all about!
A tap, emptying point and recycling/bins.
You really donāt need anything else!
Wonderful sea and valley views.
Lots of space.
We saw the owner once when he collected the money very friendly. We donāt expect or need a welcome on CLs.
We drove the short distance to Crackington Haven and paddle boarded all day. Coast path walk in the evening, 5 mins from site.
Beautiful views
Massive field loads of space and beautiful views. Had difficulty finding the water tap and the elsan was in the next field but very friendly owner and would return

Huge space and cracking views
Came here 12 years ago and decided to come back on our return to the south west as part of this summers tour in our motorhome with our scooter on the back. I love this CL. Huge field with spectacular views and only us sat right in the middle and one Caravan by the hedge miles away.
Basic facilities but ideal for us with all we need on board, solar power and secondary transport. SW coast path easy walk from the CL. Good Vodafone 4g.
If you ignore the instructions to approach from the south in anything bigger than a fiat 500 your toast and will probable still be here when we come back in another 12 years. Follow them and it's dead easy.
What a Gem
Fantastic site, just what a CL should be. Quiet, peaceful, fantastic views, friendly welcome and a a great variety of walks all around. You get the views because it's on the top of a hill.
Peaceful with lovely views of the Sea and countryside
We stayed at Atlantic view farm CL on a couple of nights last week (15/16 April 21) We are a family of 2 adults and one 8 Yo child and a indoor cat.
The site was lovely with some sea views, could pitch anywhere in a large field and had the normal fresh water, toilet waste and bins.
The site was part sloping so leveling blocks were needed. It was very quite and easy to reach even for a long caravan of following the directions provided in the book/website (it should be said it is not possible to approach from the other side as caravans are prohibited for good reason due to tight hairpin bends.)
It was perfectly dark at night so stargazing was possible, it is also close to the south west coast path and easy journey by car to Bude. Beaches at Bude and Crackington haven are nearby. It would also be possible to visit other local areas but we didn't have chance on this occasion. We will definitely be staying again.
The owner was helpful when booking and when I took payment to her she let me know where everything was and nice local walks etc.
Stunning views
Stayed here for one night and it was lovely and peaceful, with amazing views over the coast between Crackington Haven and Bude. Had to phone for directions as got a bit lost, narrow lanes for a couple of miles to access the site. Massive field to park in and park where you want. Close to Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven beaches.
Atlantic view review
Basic CL, good scenery and easy for excellant coastal walks, nothing there locally other than nearby bay not really for swimming. Do not use sat nav. Turning off main road is opposite the pub not, when heading north, the first turn left that is signed unsuitable when you have taken the turn. Get this wrong and you are in trouble even small motor homes.
Bliss in a field
I've been staying at this CL every year for the past +25 years - with a small break in the 90's.
I've experienced 80 mph winds, torrential rain, glorious sunshine & temps of 80+oCĀ
Love everything, everything about the place, 'nough said.
God willing I'll be back in 2015/16/17/18/19/20...........
This, in my view, is what a CL is all about.
Thank you to Winifred & Michael (and the Cornish weather) for making all my summer holidays so unforgettably fantastic....
August 2013
Site is slightly sloping so levellers are required. Water tap and disposal in far corner of field. Elsan disposal in next field. Fantastic views, close to the costal path, location remote and car is needed to visit shops etc. Access along lanes is narrow and form one direction only, read instructions on how to find!
Cycling is good but not for the feint hearted, very hilly. Bude is 10 miles away by car, local villages are Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel, Clovelly all worth a visit.
