Short stopover on route to Skye
Only stopped for one night on our way to Skye. Pleasantly surprised at the tidy ness, layout, peace and quiet of the site.
There is a toilet and shower if you don’t have your own facilities, they are clean and do a job.
The site is lovely, the pitches are large and well maintained, very quiet and within walking distance of the town of Maybole. We marked it 3 on access to places of interest as we weren’t there long enough to to find out.
Learnt that there are something called Indian Running ducks, who knew? They, along with the chickens, sheep and cows made this a really homely site.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.
