Recommended as a base site.

Stayed for 4 nights mid February 22 - weather was …….. mostly moist - but we managed to get out and about in the local area and further beyond. To be frank the site entrance for a 8x2.5m caravan is a little tight but a little bit of motor moving and the pay off is a 180 degree vista of Pendle hill/Ribble valley - of course one must accept the mantra near Pendle of 1 it’s raining 2 it’s about to rain 3 it just finished raining. Google earth and maps help assessment on the entrance but if we can manage in and out everybody else can. We loved it and we’ll be back soon as it’s a ideal tranquil base for excursions into the Bowland on bike and foot.
