All CLs should be like this. Alec the owner was very helpful when phoning to book a pitch and welcomed us on arrival. The grass pitches are well spaced out and the service point is easily accessible for all. This site is extremely quiet day and night - just bird song and the ducks on the fishing lake. Listen out for the owls and deer apparently visit at night too. There are some excellent walks from the site, including down to Arley Station for the steam railway and walks along the river Severn. The Harbour Inn down by the river and only 15 minute walk away along the footpath through fields is very welcoming, with good beers and the food looked good too. There's also a pub only a few minutes walk from the site but we didn't use that. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely 20 mile cycle ride around the local lanes and quiet roads. The lovely town of Bewdley is only about 5 miles away and there's plenty to see and do around the local area. Although only a 3-night stop, we've relaxed so much that we feel like we've been away for a week. This site is excellent value, with great views, total quietness and a very welcoming owner; we'd definitely return. Book it - you won't be disappointed.
