Outstanding site

Stayed here for 4 nights, this is our second visit to barn owl meadow. This site is so peaceful and quiet, the facilities are spotlessly clean. Pauline is so nice and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future.

One of our favourite sites

This is a lovely CL , the owners are very friendly the site is amazing , toilets and showers are the best around ,fully serviced pitches which are hard standing so you can put the car , caravan and awning on ( no muddy grass ) a dog walk around the site , Diss , Thetford and Norwich not far away and a good fish and chip shop in Botesdale , don't forget when you are there to try the burgers , sausages and bacon very tasty , we will be back if we can get in .

Great Site

What a lovely site and fantastic facilities that are kept spotlessly clean, You will find peace and tranquillity on this site and lovely views. We had a visiting green woodpecker that was on the grass outside our window every day. The pitches are fully serviced, and there is plenty of room for your vehicle and a large awning. There are also picnic benches for each caravan pitch also there are lovely quite walks from the site, Or a dog walk area if you have one. We highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed .

Fantastic CL

What a wonderful CL, we have been touring for about 40 years and have never come across such plush facilities on a CO never mind large sites! Big extremely flat pitches, no spirit level needed! Fully serviced and peaceful, what more can you ask for! Pauline the owner is very friendly and the site is immaculate, it really is a credit to her and Roger. Hopefully will return of we can get a pitch!!

An excellent site

This is a really nice site. The pitches are spacious and fully serviced with water, electricity and grey water disposal per pitch. There is also a picnic area per pitch with table and benches. The facilities are absolutely first class putting many "5 Star" sites to shame. The owners are friendly and helpful and the area surrounding the site is quiet and rural. We like to cycle on quiet rural roads and there's plenty of opportunity to do that here. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic

We spent two nights here 2nd/3rd of June. We was not disappointed, one of the best if not the best we have stayed on. It certainly is what a CL site should be. Cleanliness was 10/10 , the welcome was the same. Spacious pitch. Lovely one way dog walk , so if your dogs are nervous or excitable you don’t have to worry about passing other dogs All dogs was kept on leads. Showers was Fantastic. You have your own picnic table , with parasol for shade Although we never used it they have a little shop.We will definitely be back. Thank you Brian and Sue

Fantastic - can’t recommend enough!

What a beautiful site that would put many commercial sites to shame. Pitches are spacious, fully serviced and well maintained. Each pitch has a countryside outlook and its own picnic bench opposite the pitch. Great location for exploring the local area whilst maintaining peace and tranquility of being on a farm. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be visiting again!

Great facility CL

We stayed at Barn Owl Meadow CL for 4 nights in October 2020. The site is only 2 years old but is really a mini club site and it has all the facilities required for a relaxing stay. As other have said, each pitch has its own EHU, water & grey water disposal point. We were there during the Covid period and the shower/toilet block was available to us but we chose to use our own onboard facilities. All the hardstandings were the same size with plenty of space to be able to “distance” from your neighbours. There were also picnic benches on the grassed areas in front of the site roadway. The dog walk around the perimeter of the paddock was welcome. The area is quiet with a few footpaths & byways to explore. The village of Walsham le Willows is 2 miles west & Rickinghall & Botesdale are a similar distance north. One small suggestion might be to plant some type of hedging between the pitches to give a bit more privacy. The site did seem to be a bit “open”. Not a criticism – just a comment.

Outstanding CL

This is one of the best CLs we have ever stayed on. Clearly a lot of thought and expense has gone into the design and makeup of the site which is just perfect. Matched with the beautiful countryside and peace and quiet and a very helpful and lovely owner this CL is excellent
