Good location

Lovely flat site surrounded by trees. Friendly welcome. The toilet and shower were out of action due to Covid and prices were reduced by £2 per night as a result, which seemed very fair. They had clearly put a lot of effort into making the site Covid safe. A few miles from Chester, the bus outside goes into the city centre if needed. The road is quite noisy, it didn’t disturb us too much at night but it it gets very busy early in the morning. We visited during a last blast of lovely warm weather in early autumn but unfortunately we had to take a small corner plot mostly in the shade as a gardener was due to come to trim the hedges. He didn’t show up in the 4 nights we stayed so we were disappointed that we didn’t get to use the large empty sunny pitch opposite. The pitches are clearly defined but of irregular size and in our small corner we had the park the car close to the awning, which added to the shade. It didn’t entirely spoil our stay but we did look wistfully at the other caravan on site with the owners enjoying sunshine all day and lots of space!

A favourite site

Have just returned home following a few days here on our way home from the Lakes. A beautifully kept site but would especially like to thank Terry and Jean for the thought they have put into making the site Covid safe for both their guests and themselves. A great location for Chester. grajude46

Excellent Site

We really enjoyed our stay at Beech Farm CL. Many CLs have raised the level of their game and this one is no exception. Terry & Jean make you very welcome and go out of their way to explain where everything is and the local attractions. This site has the benefit of a beautiful lawned area surrounded by Trees and hedges. It also has the flexibility of a sizeable hardstanding area which we used as the weather was not kind to us. There is a building with the usual tourist information, a kitchen sink and toilet, while next door there is another room with toilet and shower. These areas and the whole site are immaculate and a credit to the owners. While staying there I had to replace a broken roof light on my motorhome and I owe Terry a huge thank you for his assistance in helping me fixi it and for the excellent advice and the use of ladders and tools. We shall return soon.

Visiting Chester - Reserve now !

Reserve now or you may not get in ! Apart from the road noise which to be fair is not that bad and certainly a lot less in the evening you will not find a better run, cleaner, well appointed site than this, two good pubs within walking distance plus the bus stop 100 yards away to Chester centre or the cycle greenway to Chester center 5 minutes away and last but not least Jean and hubby, what a lovely couple, if only all sites were this good.

A Little Gem.

Well just had our first stay on a CL & what can I say apart from it was great. We only live 20minutes away & have passed Beech Farm many many times & never noticed it was there. After having a search on the CAMC app the week before we came across this little gem. We drove out to have a look around & was greeted by Jean & Terry. They showed us around & gave us all the info on the place, we were so smitten by it that we booked there & then for this weekend. It is immaculate & well kept. The toilets (x2) & shower facilities are very clean. The pitches are well spaced out. There is a no groundsheet rule but that doesn't bother us. There is traffic noise, which you get used too, but that seems to calm down early evening. There's a nice little dog walk down the lane although there is no footpaths it is fairly quiet. There's a small shop within a 15min walk or minutes by car. The Shrewsbury Arms is a 5min walk & does lovely food. Thank you Jean & Terry for making us so welcome, we will definitely be back.

Found this little gem in Chester?

Decided to have a few days in Chester last week. After searching the clubs CL sites we settled on Beech Farm. We found it to be a little gem, with Mr and Mrs McCleary, the owners, most helpful and obliging. There was plenty of pitch room, grass well mown, toilets clean with plenty of information on local attractions and eateries. There was some noise from the nearby road, however, this ceased during the evening and we had no trouble sleeping. We will be returning again when we visit Liverpool!!!

A welcome return

We've used this site before and we weren't disappointed this time either. Good access from the main road which does give you a bit of road noise during the day but not intrusive and by tea time the road goes quiet. Really pleasant owners who keep a beautiful clean and well manicured site. Site is close to motorways so good access to various places. Obviously Chester is the closest with a park and ride only 5 miles away. Would highly recommend this site and we will definitely be returning.
