Peaceful location, great for dog owners.
I’ve been caravaning for years however this was the first time staying at a CL.
I rang Sue at around 1pm to ask about a pitch for the weekend and I advised my arrival time around 4pm. Booking took 5mins over the phone.
The site is easy to access with the entrance straight on the main road, although it is a fast road, there’s no worries of tight narrow lanes for access.
The site itself is a large field which is adjacent a larger field for dogs to run around. There is electric and water along the rear fence, along with a few bulkhead style lights if you have any issues with these.
Across the site is a large plantation which is a great walk with the dog. Take some muddy walking boots though. The dog was in her elements.
Market Rasen is a 5-minute drive away with mostly independent shops.
Sue has been a fantastic host, and I look forward to coming back in the near future.
