Peaceful location, great for dog owners.

I’ve been caravaning for years however this was the first time staying at a CL. I rang Sue at around 1pm to ask about a pitch for the weekend and I advised my arrival time around 4pm. Booking took 5mins over the phone. The site is easy to access with the entrance straight on the main road, although it is a fast road, there’s no worries of tight narrow lanes for access. The site itself is a large field which is adjacent a larger field for dogs to run around. There is electric and water along the rear fence, along with a few bulkhead style lights if you have any issues with these. Across the site is a large plantation which is a great walk with the dog. Take some muddy walking boots though. The dog was in her elements. Market Rasen is a 5-minute drive away with mostly independent shops. Sue has been a fantastic host, and I look forward to coming back in the near future. Thankyou

Fantastic site run by a lovely lady

Well maintained field, slightly sloping but nothing a couple of levelling blocks can’t solve. Numerous taps close to vans, complete with nighttime lighting, clean and tidy chemical disposal and bin area away from vans behind a fence. Well away from the road so nice and peaceful with some great woodland walks very nearby. Sue is a lovely lady, nothing is too much trouble for her, we needed a bit of an open ended stay as we were going through the process of buying a house and she was nothing but supportive and helpful. Fantastic site as a base for exploring Market Rasen 10 minutes drive and Lincoln about half an hour drive, and for walking or cycling the local woodlands. Will definitely be back.

Lovely large field in tranquil setting

Lovely large field on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wold. Lots of fantastic walking and cycling from the CL and roughly 2 miles into Market Rasen where there is a big Tesco and lots of coffee shops. Access is easy (we have a large 8.2m motorhome), although a few lower hanging branches for bigger vehicles. We will be back for a bit more exploring of the area - thank you.

Relaxed and home from home

Stayed April 2021. I chose this site for my first motorhome adventure as it is close to home, just a 15 minute drive for my dogs to get used to the "caravan" moving and 3 nights for me to decide where everything would go. The site is a large relatively flat field, plenty of room between units with easy access to water and electric if required The best thing for me is the very large grass field behind the site where my dogs could have a good run first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Sue the owner is very friendly but not obtrusive at all. Living close by and being a walker I am very familiar with the area. Osgodby woods is one of my favourites, it is Woodland trust so is managed with lots of trails and a beautifully hidden picnic area. 2.5 miles away there is a Farm Shop and Tea Room. Although you do have to cross the A46 this can be reach on foot by mainly woodland trails. Just beyond this is Willingham Woods. Part of Forestry England this is a very large area with lots of trails and facilities. There are a good sprinkling of small interesting towns to visit, Market Rasen, Caistor, Brigg, Louth and of course Lincoln is no more than 30 minutes away as is the coast. But for me it is all about the tranquility and woodland right on the doorstep. If I could package this site up and store it in my van ready for the next trip, I most certainly would!

Peaceful retreat

Stayed here for 3 nights July 2018. Large field, nicely cut. Plenty of room. Not in view from the road and access is by gates opened with a code so very secure. Friendly welcome from the owners. Very peaceful and relaxing. Recommended.

North Lincs centre

Spent a week here as a base for exploring North Lincolnshire. A large quiet field, Good CL facilities and friendly helpful owners. Market Rasen close enough for morning papers, food supplies and eating places.
