Soggy but picturesque.

We went in May 2012, just at the start of the really, really wet summer we had. Lovely scenery, some great walks from the site, peace and quiet guaranteed. Unfortunately the field turns into a bog in very wet weather, we were very fortunate to be able get off it unassisted, luckily we have a Landrover Defender and it did the job it was born to do. Even the toilet emptying point flooded because there was so much rain. Having said all that I would go back after a prolonged dry spell, it is in a lovely spot.
