The Place to Be

We have just spent over two weeks on this most beautiful, spacious caravan site. The pitches are huge, all with fantastic views and very well maintained. It was harvest time during our visit and the sounds from the near by road was minimal. ( pervious reviews complained about road noise) this was no problem, as our wonderful holiday with amazing sunsets, harvest to complection, absolute peace, wildlife in abundance. Last but not least the owner Graham - well what can we say - a great site made even better by his fun, informative and always helpful presents. Margaret & Ken Sept 2019

A Really Lovely Place to Stay

This was out first visit to Bellfield Farm and it definitely won't be our last. We loved the peace and tranquillity of the site and Romney Marsh in general. Graham is a lovely man who went out of his way to help and welcome us. He is justifiably proud of his site and has obviously worked hard to achieve a high standard with excellent attention to detail. All of the pitches are very nice and have open views of the fields, escarpment and sheep and have fabulous sunsets. The uninterrupted horizons, clear air and lack of light pollution ensured wonderful night skies. I can only speak as I find and would definitely not describe the adjoining lane as 'busy': even during peak hours there was just the occasional vehicle or tractor. We were able to walk our dog on the lane and surrounding roads without problem (obviously on a lead and taking proper care). I accept that it must get busier during the main harvest time, but that is to be expected in a rural area. I also understand that there was a road diversion in place at the time of the visitors review which caused higher traffic levels than normal. I am very sensitive to noise of any kind when we go away (which is why we chose this site). I can't fault it on any level. You can even get a Sainsburys etc food shop delivered if you are so minded! Many thanks Graham for a lovely stay. See you again.

Great CL

This is a smashing no facility site alongside a busy road into Dymchurch, although it was quiet at night. There are plenty of foot path signs unfortunately a lot of the footpaths you can’t get though because the farmers haven’t kept them open, and we don’t like walking through crops and the fields are very large to walk round, we were very disappointed with this, and it spoil our stay. The RSPB Reserve near Dungerness is very good, Romney Marsh Visitor centre is on the way, we never had time to visit it unfortunately. Graham the owner is very friendly and helpful, he lent us a road map which also had the foot paths marked, shame we couldn’t walk them. Thank you Graham for a smashing stay we still enjoyed ourselves

Tranquil site with a warm welcome

We have stayed at Bellfield many times and it always meets our expectations. We like tranquil sites and you won’t find better. The views are superb and the site is surrounded by sheep grazing fields. Graham, the owner is always friendly and helpful, but on this trip he surpassed all expectations. My wife was taken ill and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. Graham supported us while we waited and stood watch in the lane to make sure they found us. He then lent me his car to follow the ambulance, so that I was able to collect her after treatment. He kept in touch and offered any help and support we needed.

Perfect for Us.

We had been having a difficult time and desperately needed a couple of nights respite. Graham fitted us in at very short notice and was so welcoming and caring. He made us feel like nothing was too much trouble and is obviously justifiably proud of his lovely site. It is a peaceful location, ideal cycling area with beautiful views. We were treated to lovely sunsets and birdsong. Just the spot to relax in. Will definitely return as soon as we can. Perfect.

Lovely Peaceful Site

A lovely peaceful site and brilliant for us only being 1.5 hours away, lovely views from our really large pitch. Graham met us shortly after our arrival to check everything was OK and to ask if we knew the area. He lent us some cycle maps for the local area, no cycle paths but quiet country lanes and local drivers obviously used to bikes on the roads. Good position for Dymchurch, Hythe, Dover, Folkestone etc., also for tourist spots in East Sussex. Will definitely be seeing Graham again in the future.

Fantastic peaceful weekend - will definately return

Graham was helpful and friendly, nothing was a bother. The site is beautiful, the views from our van were lovely, we enjoyed a couple of evenings watching the stunning sunset. The grounds are well maintained. We will certainly be returning in the very near future

FOR US ----- PERFECT

We have stayed in Kent a number of times but never on a site that offered so much space in a very beautiful setting. Graham, the site owner goes the extra mile to make the site look good without overdoing the frills, he met us as we arrived and spent time with us to ensure that we understood where the various facilities were on site and what was available within the local area. The site is ideally situated for all the tourist places on the south coast of Kent and East Sussex as well as other attractions such as Canterbury and the White Cliffs at Dover. We will return to Bellfield Farm when we next visit Kent, our only regret now is that we had not found this Gem of a site earlier. Thank you Graham for making your beautiful home available to us all.

A friendly welcoming site with tranquility and views

We have just stayed here for the 4th or 5th time and enoyed it as ever. Graham, could not be more helpful or accommodating. We would trade quiet and scenery for sites with all the conveniences and this site fully meets our needs. The dog has lots of space and freedom. The surrounding fields are full of sheep and the lambing season is a wonderful time to visit. The Military Canal is less than a mile away and it is central for coastal towns from Hythe to Rye.
