At least this site was easy to find and easy to access, with no narrow lanes to navigate to get there!
Superbly laid out site with personal water supply to each of the five pitches. The owners were on holiday when we arrived but everything was self-explanatory and we chose our pitch and settled in happily.
We were already aware of the main road so knew what to expect there; it was quiet at night and during the day we were elsewhere so it didn't bother us.
Gwen greeted us warmly as soon as she returned from holiday and ensured we had found everything we needed. We had carried out an extensive search for the toilet waste disposal and eventually found it in their front garden - a sign positioned near the recycling bins informing users might be a useful addition just in case the owner isn't around.
All in all, a good set up slightly tempered by the main road, but an absolutely perfect location for those requiring a site near Menai Bridge. We would be happy to stay here again.
What a shame
We have just stayed at this almost perfect CL. Easy access even with a large twin axle unit, well maintained, each pitch having its own electric, water and waste point. Pitches are not totally level but with levelling blocks there is no major issue.
It was a little wet and only having grass pitches we were glad of having a 4x4 as a 2 wheeled drive vehicle would struggle.
The issue is the CL is adjacent to the main road which, even in the middle of the night, has constant traffic which for us became quite intrusive.
Regrettably we would not return here due to the traffic noise which is an absolute shame as the site itself was lovely.
Pity about the main road
We have just spent 4 nights at Berwyn. A lovely laid out site , short grass, water service & drain to each pitch. The cows in the adjacent field paid us a visit each day, no problem
Angelsea is a lovely place to explore, with many beaches & coves delightful. The views of Snowdonia are breathtaking, and an easy drive away, as is Llandudno.
Restaurant's, Petrol & a Waitrose supermarket are all within 2 or 3 miles
Mr & Mrs Davies were most welcoming, and have a excellent site, It's just the road noise .
We will return.
Nice site, noisy road
This is a well-maintained little site which is perfectly situated to explore Anglesey. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, we would not return as the noise from the very busy adjacent road was a constant disturbance to us both day and night. As we are particularly sensitive to traffic noise this may not, however, affect other members' enjoyment to such an extent.

Great facilities for a CL
We visited this CL in march 2015. Great facilities for a CL of this price! Each pitch is fully serviced with water and drainage! Warm welcome from Gwen. Only slight disappointment is the noise from the road. It is a very busy main road and continues throughout the night, and can be quite intrusive.
However the site itself is well cared for and surrounded by fields of curious cows. Good location for Menai and Beaumaris.
Lovely Site
This site is lovely, easy to find from owners directions, next to main road. A warm welcome on arrival from the owner who gave us site information and local leaflets. A very well presented tidy site. Each pitch has it’s own water tap, grey water waste drain. A great base for visiting Anglesey and North Wales. We will return to Berwyn, thank you
Excellent CL
Well kept and very well equipped CL, very handy for our overnight stop for the Holyhead ferry. Friendly welcome from owner. Will return for a longer stay
GEM
This site is a gem, especially well placed for site seeing. When we arrived the friendly helpful owners gave us a pack full of all the local tourist attractions. We had a busy two weeks visiting 3 National Trust properties, Llandudno, Bangor and every coastal town on the Anglesey. Each pitch has it’s own water tap, grey water waste drain, and the site is kept with loving care. We have been to Anglesey many times and in future will return to Berwyn.

Great for Angelsey Coast Path
We have just returned from Berwyn (March 2014) and used the site as a base to walk to complete walking the Angelsey coast path and continue on Wales coast path. Started at Amlwch and finished at Llandudno. This site has brilliant easy access to bus routes along north and south coast and even into Gwynedd as we walked further than planned due to dry weather. The site has very good CL standards and the adjacent main road to us was a bonus. Site owner was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Noisy
This site is very well maintained and presented and ideally placed for touring. However, it backs directly onto the busy A5025 (its the other side of the hedge in the picture) and hence there is allot of road noise.
