A Slice Of Scottish Heaven!

I first saw photos of this CL about two years ago but it has taken us until now to visit. I must confess, having read one of the previous reviews, I was a little nervous about what we were going to find. But all was good. Fabulous views for which am I am happy to pay £20 - it’s got to be preferable to looking at the back of another caravan on a club site. There are three drive on/ drive off type pitches one of which we used. It did slope a bit but we had no trouble getting level or erecting our awning. The remaining two pitches are a little more tricky to access being at the side of the CL. As others have mentioned, there was no sign of the owner - we didn’t see him at all during our stay. However all the information you need is available to read on arrival - payment envelopes are provided, info about the local area etc. WiFi worked well. Bins fo need some attention - recycling bin was overflowing whilst we were there. Easy walk along the lane towards Jubilee Bridge which then gives access to a disused but surfaced multi use railway line. It’s about a mile and a bit walk to Port Appin - village shop/ post office plus a couple of hotels and a gift shop. All in all, a lovely CL, would definitely revisit.
