DISAPPOINTED..Unsuitable for caravan and awning

As previous reviewers the views are superb, but that does not excuse the owner for lack of maintenance and lack of appearance…as stated by the description Stuart did not welcome us nor make any form of appearance during our stay. The pitches are all sloping and there is no room to accommodate a caravan, awning and car on the pitches without blocking access to other pitches. The site was badly maintained and the waste bins never emptied during our stay. We were not the only ones complaining but no sight of owner left no means to express opinion. Entrance road is difficult with a steep blind summit. The site is peaceful but no direct walking from site except onto a single track road where speeding vehicles make walking to the nearest footpath at Jubilee Bridge perilous at times, especially if a dog is with you on a lead. SITE WELL OVERPRICED for facilities (not!) provided….site relying on its scenic position not its facility provision.
