Cl with superb access to Cambridge

We visit this lovely cl regularly when visiting our daughter at Selwyn College. It is great that it is open all year and has easy access from the M11. It is a 15 - 20 minute cycle ride on a cycle track into Cambridge. We also use the local Whippet bus service from the bus stop round the corner. The nearest park and ride is approx. 10 minutes drive away if you prefer a more frequent bus service. The Countryside Restoration Trust manages land immediately adjacent with extensive, wide mown pathways for walking. Our little dog used to love it. Maps are available from the office. Off-road cycle ways are close by and we enjoy cycling to Granchester on mainly traffic free paths. If you are not familiar with the TV series, there is a wonderful church and famous tea garden there. Local attractions include the National Trust Wimpole Hall and Duxford (historic aircraft collection}. The hardstanding pitches look out onto a pleasant, well-kept grassy area. We enjoy watching the rabbits hopping about and the horse which can climb on a bank and look over the fence at us. The toilets are a useful facility which not all cls provide. Mr Page is helpful and friendly. He was happy to provide us with information on local veterinary surgeons when my dog became seriously poorly and took the trouble to call round later to find out how we had got on. If you are thinking of visiting Cambridge, we would definitely recommend this site but please leave some space for us!
