Lovely place....

This is a lovely place. Peaceful. Beautiful views. Great access to walks - you can literally walk through the neighbouring farmyard and across the hills down to Cheedale or take a slightly longer route down the lane, past the bigger campsite. Easy to reach too - our first time towing as we have just made the switch from campervan to caravan. Friendly owner. Couple of tips: if you like Thai food, it's only 10 mins to Simply Thai in Buxton. Great for eating in or a takeaway. Not far to Bakewell either if you fancy a tart! If you like eggs, there's a farm selling them just down the lane with an honesty box. The larger campsite nearby also has a shop and cafe open to everyone so you can have the best of both worlds - stay at Blackwell Hall's lovely peaceful CL but use of a close shop and cafe should you need it. We would definitely like to stay here again. Only downside for us on this occasion was that we had very little mobile phone signal so couldn't get online. Bit tricksy as we were rather reliant on being able to google the things we couldn't figure out in our new caravan but it won't be an issue for us next time.
