If you have kids and want a lovely little CL, then this is the site for you.  It is on a working farm and if you like seeing livestock running free then it is a dream.  My daughter was in heaven when we arrived as there was ducks, chickens, geese and turkey's running around the whole site so my daughter didn't have to go far to make friends with the wildlife.  This site is very close to Matlock so ideal for exploring the local area.  There is a lovely public house down in the village which we managed to get a late meal on the Friday night.  The site does have a bit of a slope but nothing that a few levelling blocks under your wheels won't sort.  The landowner was very welcoming and showed us where everything was on the Friday night. We would definitely go back and my daughter was in tears when we had to leave as she wanted to stay and help look after all the animals.  Hopefully next time we go she might be able to help feed the lambs.  Fingers crossed.
