Hidden gem

This is a basic campsite. We like that and so do many others. It is situated on a farm in a beautiful, quiet, unknown to most little valley. The access is a bit tight for larger outfits and the site itself does slope. There is a tap, a rubbish bin and a field. At the side of the field is a stream. There are views across to the hills around Cadair Idris, which can itself be reached by probably the least steep approach to the summit from any direction.  There are flat walks and steep walks and in between. There is a great 12 mile cycle ride out towards the coast and back on quiet lanes. The Afon Cadair is a great kayak trip if it rains - just 200 yards away. It won't suit people who like manicured grass, marked out pitches and electricity. There is no mobile signal. It is proper camping - probably closer to wild camping than most caravan sites. We loved it. We know there are others who will too. And it's very cheap!
