Little Gem

We stayed on this site for five nights and had a wonderful stay. Andrew greets you with a warm welcome and cannot be helpful enough. He is very knowledgeable about the area and places to visit and gives you full access to the 2 dog parks without charge where you can spot the deer in the next field, there is also a tree lined dog walk path if you need to shelter from the rain. Andrew supplies books, games and jigsaws in the information hut as well as places to sit out with tables and chairs and a BBQ what more could you ask for just a brilliant little CL thanks Andrew.

Excellent Cl

Well what can I say. The best Cl site we’ve visited. We don’t normally go to sites with no toilets or showers but glad we came here and will definitely be back. Andrew is such a lovely helpful man. Before we even came we had a problem with our booking. Phoned Andrew and was sorted within minutes. Big fully serviced pitches and every thing is spotless. Lovely covered walk for dog if it’s raining or windy and 2 off lead fields through the holly orchard. Was lucky enough to see 6 Deer as I came out the doggy field one night what a sight that was. Nice information hut with games, books, jigsaws, walks … everything you need. If some information you can’t find ask Andrew and I’m sure he’ll advise you. Unfortunately the blooms weren’t out while we were there but I can imagine it would be a lovely sight to see. There is also a lovely steam train too. Lovely areas for French boules,Fire pit, Tranquility area.Very secure site with a locked gate.

Antonine Wall

An excellent site. Could not fault it at all. Very friendly welcome and immaculately kept and secure site. We used it as a base to walk the Antonine Wall as it is very close to Larbert Station which gives rail access both east and west. We will definitely go back and use it to visit Edinburgh and Glasgow.

fantastic place

just returned from this great cl site,as soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Andrew who showed us our pitch :) helped my partner to reverse into it lol ( thankfully as i'm terrible at it ) there is a lovely little plaque with contact numbers if we need it. very useful, hardstanding pitches are very well maintained. Andrew has the place immaculate,we even got to use the fully enclosed doggie play area :) Meeka our fur baby loved it and so did we lol we never got time to see everything we wanted to see as it was mostly a family visiting holiday but when we come back we will def see the places Andrew recommended. We never got to see the train running though Andrew did say if we want to he will set it up but the weather and time was against us although on a plus side we only had 2 days of bad weather out of 5 and into Nov that was really good..We are looking forward to seeing it with all the flowers and colour, very cute little lanterns lit it up.There is a lovely walk in the conifers round the site when you want to walk the dog and its raining :) You will not be disappointed ...

An absolute gem of a CL

Stayed for 8 nights at Bonnyview Caravan Park CL in Sept 2023 with my wife and our two dogs. It's a beautiful CL, well maintained, secure, excellent facilities, well located and nothing was too much trouble for Andrew, the owner. With ScotRail services being dog friendly, we took advantage of walking the short distance from the site to Larbert Train Station and enjoyed stress free days out to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. The tram services in Edinburgh are also dog friendly although the underground in Glasgow is not but that wasn't an issue for us. The site is well located for visiting other must do attractions and for eating out, is a short distance away from Larbert village which has a wide selection of takeaways. We really enjoyed our stay here and have no hesitation in recommending it to others, we will definitely be back. 5/5 *****

Little Gem

We have just returned from a great weekend at this Little Gem of a Site. Andrew the owner welcomed us on arrival and offered us a choice of pitches which are all fully serviced and hard standing. There are lovely little touches with hanging baskets/lights in Pergola, Boule court/ BBQ area as well as a mini railway all set up. I can only imagine this in summer sitting looking out from your pitch. We have a dog and it was a real bonus to be able to take her to fully enclosed dog park at end of site. All attractions from Kelpies/Helix Park, Falkirk Wheel and many more all just a short drive away or enjoy the walks starting at site entrance. We will be back maybe see you there. Great site

We only stay a half hour away and do many weekends within a hour from home. Andrew was the perfect host and very welcoming. We were on pitch 4 which was perfect as very private. Recommend The Station Hotel as a bar and something to eat, 10 min walk from site, and as the name suggests right next to the train station. We got a bus directly from the entrance of the site to Falkirk then spent some time walking the canal after we had a look round. Snack bar at entrance of site was also great for morning rolls. The site is immaculate and the hanging baskets are amazing. Lovely walk through the trees round the back of the pitches and loads of room over the whole site. Well worth a visit, and looking forward to returning.

Kelpie visit

We stayed on this really lovely CL site on our way up to Loch Lomond. Andrew was really helpful , told us whete everything was and gave us information on how to get to The Kelipes and The Falkirk Wheel which are both worth a visit. There's a water tap on each pitch which is a great bonus and a nice dog walk and dog exercise area. Secure gate so felt safe. All in all a fab CL . 😊

Scottish tour.

What a great CL this is. Very easy access from the A9 and a very warm welcome from Andrews' son when we arrived. Andrew himself also also showed us to our secluded, serviced pitch. On site there was a model railway, a Boules pitch, a picnic area and a gated dog-walk as well as being part of the well stocked nursery. Ideal place to visit the Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel and Andrew even pointed out a short-cut to get there. (about 5 minutes in the car) Would highly recommend this site.

Lovely Hidden Treasure

Just stayed for two nights. Warm and welcoming greeting on arrival with explanation of site facilities. Pitches are serviced with clean water with a disposal drain for grey water. Chemical toilet emptying is straightforward. Site is ideally located to get to local tourist spots either walking, cycling or public transport. Very well presented and kept site. Due to town location some road and rail noise but only as a low background sound. Well worth the stopover or as a base to visit either Edinburgh or Glasgow by train. Would stay again.
