Spent a lovely week here in September. Booking easy, prompt replies to emails and payment via bacs.
Would advise following Julie's or the SD directions to the site as some of the roads are narrow and not suitable for towing. Even following the directions the final approach is on typical Devon narrow roads with small passing places, all okay until you meet someone who can't/ won't reverse, as we unfortunately did! Luckily we didn't meet anything when leaving.
Once on site there are 5 hardstanding pitches all with views across open fields. Our pitch was level and there was good spacing between the pitches. Water, waste and CDP all good and screened off from the pitches.
Apart from some occasional farm machinery noise it was very quiet, especially at night. Julie popped round to meet us and check all okay during our stay and again just before we left.
The site is central for visiting Totnes, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge and also Dartmoor, with plenty of lovely coastal walks. There are supermarket's in Dartmouth and Totnes, and the local garage on the main road had a Spar, handy for anything you've forgotten.
There is a handy track by the farm entrance for those morning and evening dog walks.
Overall this a lovely CL and very good value, we will definitely use it again when visiting the area.
Fantastic
We arrived during heavy rain, Mrs Rich came straight out to greet us and make sure we were ok
Amazing views , really peaceful, best CL I’ve stayed at .
Water, waste disposal is all close at hand.
Grass cut just like my lawn at home all clippings collected so none to tread in my caravan.
At £16 a night absolute bargain electric, and hard standing included.
If you want piece and tranquility this is a must
Both local pubs amazing food and hospitality
Perfect CL.
Stayed for four days and found the site to be perfect for us. Quiet, scenic and friendly farmer owners. This is what CL's are all about. Thanks Julie.

Peaceful and Relaxing, Lovely quiet site
I must agree with all the other reviews,Julie meet us on arrival and is a absolute gem and the bonus for us was the new lambs in the nursery
Peaceful and Relaxing
This is our second visit to Boreston Farm and we will be back. It is tucked away at the back of the farm with beautiful views. The pitches are spacious, relatively flat with easy access to the fresh water and chemical waste. The owner Julie is very helpful. We feel very relaxed when we are here. There are 2 pubs nearby but we are yet to visit. There are no shops within walking distance but Totnes, Kingsbridge or Dartmouth are a short drive away.
Lovely quiet site
Just back from a week at this lovely site. Fantastic views and extremely peaceful with just the cows and sheep for company. Julie met us on arrival and even came to say goodbye, very friendly and helpful and supplied us with fresh eggs during our stay. Nice level pitches and hardstanding a bonus as was the high hedge behind us which kept off the worst of the wind. Centrally placed for most areas of interest and little track opposite the farm handy for dog walking, even saw a white pheasant on a couple of occasions! Narrow lane to farm not an issue as it is very quiet. Looking forward to returning in the not too distant future.

One of the best
In my opinion this is what CLs are all about. Well away from the nearest busy road, plenty of space and lovely views. All well spaced and virtually level hard standing pitches with water, bins and sanitary point all very convenient. Access was also not a problem. Yes, the last mile or so is partly single track but it is a very quiet road and there are plenty of passing places. We stayed for a week in a 6.4m camper van and had no problems coming and going every day. Julie was an excellent host, sending very useful directions and the option to pay via BACS transfer was a bonus. A great place to stay and explore the many attractions in the local area.

Beautiful views and baby lambs 🥰
What an amazing place, fabulous views and surrounded by newborn lambs, calves and hens 🥰. Simple facilities but all that you need. Lots of hand gel points.
Access for the first time is a bit scary, you need to ignore satnav and follow Julie’s instructions, even then the access road is long and narrow.
We have a 6m motorhome so the access road is not a particular problem but can appreciate that it’s probably a location for Caravanners with a car to use each day rather than taking the Moho down those lanes.
Such a shame as the location is great for ‘almost wild camping’ - it was just us and 2 caravans this week, plus all the lambs. Misty mornings, clear skies at night - just gorgeous.
Thank you Julie and family.
Relaxing stay at a quiet & well maintained CL
If you enjoy peace and tranquility then this is a perfect site. We were welcomed by Julie soon after arrival and she was extremely friendly & helpful.
The site has good hard standing for the caravan & plenty of space for vehicle & awning. The amenities are simple but well organised and there is hand gel available.
This is a great place to explore the South Hams area & there is plenty to see & do.
The local pub/restaurants mentioned are popular & require plenty of notice so I recommend you book before arrival.
Access to the site requires a mile or so of driving down some busy narrow lanes. It is essential to follow the access instructions and not the sat nav- as this will take you down miles of single track roads with few passing places.
I highly recommend Boreston Farm CL
peace and quite
We had a lovely 1 night stay. Julie was very welcoming and site was clean and tidy with lots of sanitiser points. Nice views over the South Hams and had a great home made burger at the Old Inn.
