Ease of arrival/welcome

Dissappointing - Lack of information on arrival, Waste disposal hard to find, Lack of interest when problems raised. We would not go back although che

We were on a long road tour of Scotland and chose this site near Inverness because it sounded great and our expectations were high. When we arrived Sat Nav brought us down the most direct track to the site but as there were no visible signs until you were well committed down a narrow track we had to ring the office for directions. he sight is long and thin with a track runing it's length. This track is quite well used by fishermen etc. The water tap is at one end of the site, so could be a long way if you are pitched at the far end. We could not find any foule waste disposal - we eventually tracking it down at the office several hundred yards away - too far to carry/roll a toilet waste container. As there was nowhere to dispose of grey water we had no alternative but to use the ditch adjacent - Here we found some inconsiderate person had emptied thier toilet and dumped a load of cornflakes. I totally do not condone this lazyness but was very dissappointed at the reaction of the office. I would expect them to come and sort this sort of problem - they seemed uninterested if annoyed that it had happened. None of the facilities mentioned in the listing above were mentioned when we arrived. They may not have been available because of Covid but it would have been nice to have been told. The impression was that the CL was an inconvenience and survived on the back of it's impressive name! Cheap but no so cheerfull.
