AMAZING, WELCOMING, FANTASTIC

We have stayed at many CL sites over the years but this is by far the best one we have ever found. The site itself is beautifully laid out, each pitch has its own water and waste facilities including recycling and household waste. The pitches themselves are each separated and very secluded. There are beautiful ponds surrounded by very lush grass beautifully maintained.There is a lovely toilet and shower very clean and even hand sanitiser outside before you enter so very Covid secure and the chemical waste point is very clean. Eric, Sue and their beautiful dog Izzy are without doubt the most loveliest of people and go the extra mile to accommodate requests that are within their power to do so. We were met on arrival by Eric who was so charming. It was only the fact Wales was closing down due to Covid we had to come home and we cannot wait to return again when its safe to do so. We definitely feel we were leaving having made some wonderful friends. Thank you so much for such a wonderful holiday.

Thank you Emma, hopefully we will be back open soon. It's been a complicated year so far from the initial lockdown when we made numerous refunds for those unable to visit. We continued this policy in that we would rather people came and enjoyed their holiday rather than be "pressured" into coming so we have been totally flexible on deposits and thankfully haven't had anyone be ill on site or bring in Covid-19. 

We were fortunate that when we set out the pitches our idea of keeping various bushes and shrubs kept the pitches clear of each other except two which we set out specifically for two units travelling together. We installed separate taps to each pitch (one for connecting to your units water supply the other for those that like to fill their kettle straight from the tap, so that can be done without disconnecting and reconnecting). By giving each pitch its own 16amp electric points and then as soon as the initial lockdown was coming to an end we added separate general waste an recycle bins to each pitch so minimising points where people might queue or touch. I hope that our grey waste point on each pitch was also useful and saved walking off your pitch

I think our CEP (toilet waste) is one of the best available, it's undercover well vented and has a club standard waste hopper, which also has a sanitiser outside.

I'm glad you liked our w.c. and shower, and found it clean. I hope the added benefit of being able to turn on a powerful heater before a shower morning and night was nice and that you had enough hot water in the hand basin.

I'm very aware (having caravanned all my life, and with the club for 27 years of that) that when you visit, it is your holiday. I feel if people are kind enough to visit, it is our responsibility to make sure that the site is ready for them, so our pitches are all weather and raised so drain off well and stay nominally dry. They are pretty much level as I like all caravaners don't want to waste time with lots of wedges and blocks on arrival.
