Good LocalPlacesOfInterest for Surrounding Area

I have just returned from a long weekend at this CL and felt it was worthy of a review. As previous reviews have stated this CL is situated on a golf course but don't let this put you off, its only 9 holes and very scenic,CL overlooking the 9th hole. Facilities are good although the waste water/clean water/rubbish layout is situated at opposing ends of the CL but not a real problem. Other facilities such as toilet tend to be open 8am till dusk although shower available 24/7 via key. There is a café and small bar which is open mainly for golfers but it was welcoming for all so don't think its golfers only. Good walks around the edge of the course for dogs and plenty of wildlife. Its not a waterside CL as such, although there are two small ornamental lakes further down the course not suitable for fishing. The village of Madley is just up the road with good pubs (The Red Lion) which serves great food and gives a warm welcome, doggies welcome, visit the small plant nursery next door and charity shop its all for a great cause and very reasonable prices. LocalPlacesOfInterest for visiting Ross on Wye, Hay on Wye, Hereford and Black Mountains no problem. The weather wasn't kind but when the sun came out it was great-I will be visiting again. Word of warning DO NOT FOLLOW CARAVAN CLUB ROUTE PLANNER it has roads missing and wrong information apart from that have a great time-we did.
