Mind you, it helps being a golfer 😀As a golfer, this site was delightful, 1st tee just a short walk. It’s only 9 holes, and there are only 3 par 4’s, but it is a true test of accuracy. The course is well maintained and there are ‘proper’ greens. Golf aside, this site is well maintained and has a wonderful relaxed ‘feel’, lots of mature trees provide some welcome shade, depending on where you pitch. We were made to feel welcome right from the start. Yes, there is some road noise from time to time, but this didn’t detract from a great stay. Indeed, the most annoying thing was the sound of some blasted pigeon cooing 😀 What you have here is a CL in a lovely location, lots of glorious countryside on your doorstep, will definitely return. Just one word of caution, don’t bother with the local ‘chippy’, not good.
